Arsene Wenger gives injury update ahead of liverpool clash

Arsene Wenger has given updates on the availability Diaby, Arteta, Debuchy and Wilshere.

Arsene wenger has asserted that these four players are back in training, and are available for selection, although they would be a bit short for top competitive level. When asked by a reporter about their progress, Wenger said “Yeah they have all been involved, and it went well. No problem after that, coming out of the game, so that’s good news. They are back available in training a bit short of top competitive level certainly, but that’s a bit normal. They’ve been out for a long time, but I was quite surprised by how fit they looked and by the quality of their performance, it was good.”

Wenger is excited to have all these players back as having all his best players back especially towards the tail end of the season is a rare thing that happens, the club is usually plagued with a long injury list which often results iin the team not getting the best out of their games. When asked how important it is to have all the players back, especially towards the end of the season,

Wenger said “You want everybody available and back in the final months to compete at the top level. You know the consistency will play a big part in the success of the team, and to have everybody available can help.” On other team news, Danny Welbeck came back from England with a slight knee injury, but has a little chance of playing on Saturday, while Chamberlain is still “out and not available”

When asked if Wilshere could play on Saturday, he said “Look, Jack or Diaby or Debuchy, will I involve any of them, I haven't decided yet.

Arsenal fans would no doubt be happy that the best players are coming back. That may not however be the case completely for Arsene Wenger as he faces a selection headache. The players who have stepped in for the injured players have performed so well that they might not just be told to go back to the bench. Bellerin for instance has stood in place and has been outstanding, Coquelin has stood in place for team captain Mikael Arteta, and has been outstanding as well.

What then holds the future of these players? Back to the bench, loan, less playing time or what? Have your say in the comment box below.
