Wenger pessimistic about arsenal's title chances

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger remains pessimistic about the chances of arsenal football club winning the coveted English premier league trophy following a rival manager saying otherwise.

Arsene Wenger’s boys have been on a good run since new years fixture against Chelsea, and have gone on to beat difficult opponents like Manchester united which has proven an impossible feat since 2011. However, thanks to goals from Monreal and the ex-manchester united player Danny Welbeck who scored the winner, Arsene Wenger’s boys broke the jinx. They have also defeated Manchester city twice this season, and it could have been 3 if not for a late equalizer in the late minutes at the etihad.

Arsene Wenger in his pre match press briefing ahead of the Newcastle game was asked if he felt arsenal still had the chance to win the premier league, and he said “At the moment, we are too far away from Chelsea, but we have an opportunity every week to get closer. For that, we need positive results from us, and negative results from Chelsea. The only thing we can master is positive results from us. I believe chelsea is still a very good caution, and very good security.”

Arsene Wenger seems to have given up on the premier league title, but players like Ozil have been quoted by the media saying arsenal could still win the premier league title. Not only Ozil, but fans across the world are also optimistic about our chances.
