Wenger quashes transfer rumour

Arsene Wenger has quashed reports linking him with highly rated Palermo striker, conflicting the words of the seller club’s president in the process.

This is n sharp contrast to what Palermo’s president Perini said when he claimed that arsenal had made an official bid for the striker.

When pressed about the issue, Arsene Wenger said “Ask him to show you the offer.” When he was asked if there was any interest in the player, his response was “no”

Arsenal have Walcott, Giroud, Alexis, Podolski would be coming back from loan as well as Sanogo, Welbeck. All of whom can play that central forward position effectively. The last thing the club needed was another central forward.
