Arsene Wenger has said Alexis Sanchez will not be
100% fit for the game against Liverpool, but he will definitely not be short
for the game scheduled to hold on the 24th of August at the Emirates
stadium.

Upon his return to
Arsenal, Arsene was reluctant to start him in the game against West Ham and
only came on as an emergency substitution when things had gone really bad. He,
however started the game against Crystal Palace. When Wenger was asked how
surprised he was that the Chilean forward was already making a big impact even
when Wenger himself had admitted that the player wasn’t fit, Wenger answered
that “I think on Monday night, he will not be short. He will not be far from
100%. It's surprising because when he has not the basic fitness, he has the mental
resources to dig deep and to be combative and fight. And as well, he has the
talent”.
