Arsene Wenger has said Jack Wilshere is close to
recovery, but it would be an unrealistic expectation if he is expected to
return before the international break.
For quite some time,
Jack Wilshere has been an integral part of the English national team and
English fans had been hoping that given Wenger’s optimism over the midfielder’s
injury, the player will be available for England’s game. Arsene Wenger however
claimed that such expectations will be unrealistic and said “No. I would
believe that is a bit too optimistic vision to think that he will be available
for England. It's too early. Before the international break is not realistic”.
Hopefully, the
midfielder will return soon and not have these injuries that keep coming
throughout the season.
